Ο χορός των ηχηρών αποχωρήσεων από την ΠΑΣΕΓΕΣ άνοιξε στις 17 Μαρτίου και δυόμισι μήνες μετά η τριτοβάθμια συνεταιριστική οργάνωση εμφανίζεται αναμφισβήτητα βαθιά λαβωμένη. Εννέα από τα πιο σημαντικά και πλέον αναγνωρίσιμα στελέχη του αγροτικού και συνεταιριστικού χώρου αποφάσισαν, ο ένας μετά τον άλλο, να της γυρίσουν την πλάτη. Ως εκ τούτου, το φετινό καλοκαίρι αναμένεται καθοριστικό για το μέλλον του συνεταιριστικού κινήματος, αφού τόσο οι παραιτήσεις από την άλλοτε κραταιά ΠΑΣΕΓΕΣ όσο και η ανασύσταση του θεσμού –μέσα από έναν νέο Ενωτικό Φορέα– θα λάβουν χώρα την περίοδο του θέρους. Ποιοι είναι, όμως, οι εννέα συνεταιριστές που αποφάσισαν να γυρίσουν σελίδα;

Ο επί χρόνια πρόεδρος της Ένωσης Μαστιχοπαραγωγών Χίου γεννήθηκε στο νησί στις 2/10/1953. Από το 1971 έως το 1976 σπούδασε στην Κτηνιατρική Σχολή Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης. Εκλέχθηκε πρώτη φορά πρόεδρος της Ένωσης Μαστιχοπαραγωγών Χίου το 1994 (έως το 2011). Επίσης, έχει διατελέσει μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της Αγροτικής Τράπεζας Ελλάδος (ATEbank) και ήταν αντιπεριφερειάρχης Χίου την περίοδο 2011-2013.

Είναι πρόεδρος του Α΄ Αγροτικού Συνεταιρισμού Κουφαλίων και της Αγροτικής Σύμπραξης Θεσσαλονίκης, που αποτελεί τη μετεξέλιξη της Ένωσης Αγροτικών Συνεταιρισμών Θεσσαλονίκης.

Ο κτηνοτρόφος, με την πλούσια συνεταριστική δράση, για πρώτη φορά το 1978 εκλέχτηκε πρόεδρος της Κοινότητας Δαλαμανάρας. Το 1983 εκλέχτηκε ως εκπρόσωπος των αγροτών, νομαρχιακός σύμβουλος Αργολίδας και το 1986 μέλος του ΔΣ της ΓΕΣΑΣΕ. Το 1989 εκλέχτηκε πρόεδρος της ΓΕΣΑΣΕ, ενώ το 1990 ορίστηκε ως εκπρόσωπος της Ελλάδας στη Συμβουλευτική Επιτροπή Οπωροκηπευτικών της ΕΕ, όπου παρέμεινε έως το 2000. Από το 1993 έως το 2000 διετέλεσε αντιπρόεδρος και γενικός γραμματέας της ΓΕΣΑΣΕ, ενώ από το 1998 μέχρι το 2000 διετέλεσε νομαρχιακός σύμβουλος Αργολίδας. Από το 2004 μέχρι σήμερα εκλεγόταν μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της ΠΑΣΕΓΕΣ. Το 2009 εκλέχτηκε πρόεδρος του Συνδέσμου Ελληνικής Κτηνοτροφίας (ΣΕΚ), θέση που κατέχει μέχρι και σήμερα.

Επίσης, έχει διατελέσει και αντιπρόεδρος του ΕΛΟΓΑΚ.

Γιαννακάκης γεννήθηκε στη Βέροια, έχει σπουδάσει στην Πάντειο και έχει παρακολουθήσει μαθήματα δημοσιογραφίας στο Εργαστήρι Επαγγελματικής Δημοσιογραφίας. Διετέλεσε διευθυντής πωλήσεων σε μεγάλη ασφαλιστική εταιρεία της Θεσσαλονίκης, ιδιοκτήτης οικονομοτεχνικού γραφείου στη Βέροια, συνιδιοκτήτης και εκδότης τοπικής ημερήσιας εφημερίδας και επί 16 χρόνια γεν. διευθυντής της συνεταιριστικής κονσερβοποιΐας ΑΛΜΜΕ στη Βέροια. Σήμερα, είναι στέλεχος του συνεταιρισμού Venus Growers, καθώς και πρόεδρος στην Κοινοπραξία Συνεταιρισμών Οργανώσεων Παραγωγών του Νομού Ημαθίας.

Ιδρυτικό μέλος του ΣΕΚ, έθεσε τα θεμέλια για το κτηνοτροφικό σκέλος της ΠΑΣΕΓΕΣ το 2011, που εκλέχτηκε στο διοικητικό της συμβούλιο.

Η αποχώρησή του από την ΠΑΣΕΓΕΣ έγινε γνωστή στις 15 Απριλίου, όταν δεν αποδέχτηκε τη θέση του μέλους στο ΔΣ που δικαιούνταν ως πρώτος επιλαχών μετά τις πρώτες παραιτήσεις άλλων μελών.
